Since its launch ,its been called the ultimate next gen mobile . Everybody likes it design,its colour,its sleekiness,its features and some critics call it as 'lack of features'. By the way i am not here to talk about I-phone, I am here to talk about the next gen I-phone killers ! You guys dont know but i made a post a 'Zune the I-pod killer' ,but Zune couldnt kill it , it couldnt even disturb the Ipod sales. Anyways here are some mobiles which are pretty attractive by style and features and maybe pretty repulsive by price tag .
Open Moko :- The first version is the NEO 1973 mobile phone, which carries the Linux kernel inside and is not locked to a specific network, it shares a design philosophy -- no buttons, just a screen -- and it's ready to be loaded with any number of open-source software applications. The base version of the NEO sells for $300. It has a 2.8" VGA touch screen, a micro SD card slot, a USB port and 2.5G GSM quad band capability. Keep in mind that this unit (the GTA01) was pushed out early so developers could begin writing device drivers, custom GUIs and some cool apps for the phone. The next revision (GTA02), which will be available starting at $450 in October, will be ready for the mass market. It will have wi-fi, 3-D motion sensors and added graphics accelerators. So this phone isn't exactly an iPhone killer -- the next one will be a contender.
Another Version is the Neo Advanced This Hacker's Dream Box is a heavy duty, mysterious black box that houses the OpenMoko development board. The Advanced kit is padded to protect your Neo 1973, development board, and accessories for hackers in transport. This is a Developer Version The Consumer-ready hardware will be available around year's end, with Consumer-ready software to follow some time after that. If you are a Developer, jump in, the water's fine. If you do not know how to program, please consider waiting for the Consumer-ready hardware and software.
Google G-Phone or Google Switch : What would make the Google Switch an iPhone killer? The touchscreen is similar to the one on the iPhone so that would not do it. The Google Switch is said to be 3G unlike the iPhone's 2.5G. It would need to be 3G with HSDPA to make up for having all applications on the network and not on the device itself. Call me suspicious, but, would this be an opportunity to charge more for the menu of attached applications? Then on the other hand that may provide a better opportunity to have a wider variety of applications - something that the iPhone lacks. So, that would probably be a wash for most people. The iPhone has Google Maps but no built in GPS. The Google Switch is reported to have GPS built in.What more do you want ? Did you say anything ? OH !! Stupid me ! You all need a screen shot :)

HTC Touch weighs 112g while iPhone weighs 135g. iPhone has a bigger screen size (3.5inches) compared to HTC Touch (2.8inches) Both phones come with two megapixels camera and Wi-Fi facility. The screen size probably is going to be at 3.5" with resolution of 480x320, just like the iPhone . Also most likely the screen will cover the whole device and a touch sensitive D-pad will be there.Opera will provide a full-fledged Internet browser, supporting all common standards.he N900 will sport Nokia's Ovi 2008 Edition, providing a seamless, all-around media experience, from transfer to playback of media. A 3.5mm headphone jack will be incorporated, as well as 16GB storage capacity. For additional storage capacity, the N900 will host a miniSDHC slot. Streaming and sharing of YouTube videos (full and mobile versions) will be available through the Opera web browser. The N900 will also offer a camera/camcorder with the ability to upload mobile videos directly to YouTube.The N900 will come with support for Quad-band GSM, HSDPA, WiMAX, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. So thats bring us to the end of my search fro Iphone Killers . I have done my job and its now upto you to decide what is worth and whats not . Dont just go by the design,most importantly you should see features and ofcourse look for value for money mobiles and not style stament mobiles. i was on ibn and then thought of digging some posts and suddenly i saw a change in the digg favicon ! it was a known favicon to me ! It was the IBN FAVICON ! I tried to refresh the page again and again ,tried reopening the digg site but still there was nothing new the favicon still remained there ! I was suprised but hey then i realised that i am using Internet Explorer ! and errors reign supreme here , so my anxiousness dropped a bit but my mind glowed throughout so Enjoy this Screenshot I took ..
After reading this you must have thought i would be talking about a new Desi torrent website.But you are so wrong my friend ! I am talking about the Real Pirate Bay of India, Delhi to be precise.Give up ? I am talking about the Palika Bazaar of New delhi.Yes thats right.
I have been going to Palika market since i was 9 years old.At that time i never knew whats pirated stuff,what a grey market and how would u identify if its an original stuff or not .Everybody living in delhi must be knowing about this mart but those who dont know about it needs to know what stuffs we get in that market.And the Simple answer is Pirated,Second hand,Illegaly Imported and sometimes fake and useless stuffs.
AS soon as we enter the market the first thing we see are pirated softwares and imported stuffs.actually the majority of stuff in palika is made of pirated PC,console game and movie DVD and CDs and ofcourse Imported stuff at low price.While the minority consists of Cloth sellers and Food courts (they are just shops , i called them shops to make it sound a modern place ! ) .Its not a modern place its just an old style market which is a basement actually !
I went to Palika after 2 years so i did some queries...I asked for prices and what i found was that a Crysis PC game DVD was of : 280 INR ( Indian National Rupees) and btw its original cost is like 2,500 INR ! So thats the case up there.A mobile worth 12,000 ( N-73 ME ) was available for 9,500 INR .But i dont trust them seriously ! i have experienced lots of fake up there so its not worth but hey u can grab up a GEM called Apple I-phone !!! and that too for just 14,000 or even 12,500 INR if you are lucky ! Wondering why its so less ? Because its most probably a used piece or an imported piece from a place like Arab or even Japan or even CHina .Its common by the way .I-phone will be released in September in India but you will see some people in Delhi having those piece of beauty ! You can get the PS3 for just 14,000 INR from there ! And they have humogenous sale ! but remember no warranty or guarantee. Its your luck ! If it doesnt work , the seller wont take it back !
I saw every game DVD there, they had an amazing collection of games! it was so amazing to see sellers having whatever game we want,but i knew what would work and what wont bcoz i am a PRO buyer in palika ! and if u r not and thinking you would go there and buy costly stuffs for mere prices ..BEWARE ! Bcoz the probability is that if u buy 5 items from different shop 3 of them wont work ! and if u dont trust me then see for yourself and if all of them work , they wont last for long !!So i think buying any stuff from an original price seller is an important thing !
Well except for this, i ddint do anything there ! Oh wait, i saw some amazing T-shirts of LInkin Park,Rolling Stones,U2,50 cents,etc and WWE superstarts too but i dont think these T-shirts suite me now !
Well that was my trip to the Palika Bazaar there and i just wanna say that if u want great stuff at least price go there and DO ONE THING FOR SURE - Make the Seller check our item or ur CD before selling it to you because once its sold they wont take it back and then you would surely cry for your lost money !

That was the most exciting day of my "Computer" life. Before getting this i had my Windows XP computer fully customized to Windows Vista Ultimate.I was waiting to get Windows Vista since it arrived. I had my exams so i knew i wouldnt be successful so i didnt try asking about it.But after my exams, we went to Delhi and there the great thing happend to me . I was gifted Windows Vista Ultimate !
AS soon as i got hold of it , i installed it on my computer . I had to upgrade my ram to 2GB as without it Ultimate would have slowed down my pc too much .As soon as i installed it i was completely blown away by it.outstanding Welcome Screen,Amazing graphics,Shiny glossy icons,great sound waves..it completely mesmerised me.It has sooo many features that i still havnt checked em all !
When i didnt have the OS VISTA i used to read lot about it and obviously knew about Windows Dreamscene. And the first thing i installed was DreamScene :) Now my Desktop looks so amazing with a video wallpaper!
The thing i enjoyed the most was Windows Switcher which switches Different Applications
And about The Addons, i was suprised by a brilliant game called INK BALL.Its so addictive! I think it seriously will replace the traditional Space Cadet Pinball for xp ( its no longer in vista now ).
Windows Firewall and Windows Defender take care of my PC well and i have faced no problems in updating Defender.
Multimedia Features include DVD maker,Movie Maker,Media Center,all new paint and many more. All Of them are so amazing and well scripted.Specially the Windows Media Center
Windows Update is pretty smooth too ! its very easy to use so i have no problem in that.The Search Tool is 100 times better than xp and its 100 times quicker.My internet Conncetion too faced no problems and My pc has no speed problems too like people keep yelling. Dont believe them. Vista ultimate runs smoother than anything on 2gb ram and 128 mb graphic card.
In the End, whatever people say about Windows Vista , I am proud to have this Vista. I truly Believe Windows xp should be immediately replaced by Windows Vista ( Especially Ultimate Version) . If you dont you would seriously miss the ' WOW' factor.
